Smash authority today with the explosive open-world shooter from Volition, Red Faction: Guerrilla. Set on Mars, 50 years after the original game, Guerrilla puts you in the shoes of a freedom fighter on a mission to liberate the planet from the oppressive EDF.

The game features the Geo-Mod 2.0 destruction engine, which allows you to take apart literally any building or structure in the world piece-by-piece. You can see the Geo-Mod 2.0 engine doing what it does best on THQ TV.

Of course, with this level of destruction in the game, you’ll also be needing some tools to make the most of it. There lots of differnt weapons on offer in the game... ranging from simple explosive charges and firearms, to mini black holes and huge mechanised mining suits. Who better to run through some of these awesome toys, than the Mack!

Switch to multiplayer in Red Faction: Guerrilla and you’ll also get access to some of the wonderful backpacks that grant your player abilities such as invisibility, speed, weapon strength… or just the chance to charge through walls. With these backpacks and the Geo-Mod 2.0 engine running in full force, multiplayer rules as you know them have been turned upside down. We can’t wait to see what tactics are created online.
