MOTOGP ’06 ONLINE REVIEW ROUND-UP
Xbox 360 racer continues to excite games press
MotoGP ’06, which is out now on the Xbox 360, has been generating quite a buzz amongst the online games press.
Having named it the Best Racing Game of E3, IGN.com gave MOTOGP ’06 a review score of 8.4/10. Gamespot.com was similarly impressed, awarding the game 8.2/10.
GameSpy.com gave the game 4/5 and 1UP.com’s review awarded a score of 9/10, stating: “The sweat-building tension of being on the last lap with the No.1 rider in your sights and the final make-or-break hairpin turn approaching is fantastic.”
Back on our side of the pond, it was Gamesradar.com which led the pack with a review score of 9/10: “A staggeringly high poly count and sumptuous dynamic lighting mean haring down a straight at 230mph on a 1200cc superbike is a genuinely electrifying experience.”
Both CVG.com and Eurogamer.com awarded MotoGP ’06 8/10, the latter remarking that the “circuits are near-perfect facsimiles and the eye candy's as textured as it is tasty.”
