TEN HAMMERS - NEW SCREENS AND PREVIEWS!
Full Spectrum Warrior sequel stuns the gaming press again!
Last year's smash hit Full Spectrum Warrior won its fair share of plaudits for effectively re-writing the rules of the military videogame. Based on a light infantry-training simulator designed by Pandemic Studios for the U.S. Army as a tool to reinforce Army doctrine and squad tactics, Full Spectrum Warrior combined unprecedented authenticity and thoroughly original gameplay to create a game that invented a whole new genre for itself.
After that trail-blazing start, Pandemic have returned to the fictional country of Zekestan for the sequel, and included a vast number of new features that fans of the original were crying out for. Squad leaders can now split their squads into two independent fire-teams; APCs and other vehicles are now available for the player to control; squads can enter buildings and take up elevated positions to outmanoeuvre their enemies; Xbox live modes have been expanded with unique versus modes joining co-operative gameplay...
But don't just take our word for it - new previews of Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers have been cropping up online in the past few days, so why not check out what IGN, GameSpot and CVG.com made of the latest build of the game.
In the meantime, you can see some brand new screenshots for the Xbox and PC versions of the game!
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers is set for a March 2006 release on Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC.
