WWE® SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 features improved Tag Team matches with the introduction of new moves, finishers, double team maneuvers and the ‘Hot Tag’.
Yep, for the first time ever, the illegal man on the apron can initiate a Hot Tag to help assist the legal partner in the ring. Once the illegal partner has successfully built up the Hot Tag meter, it’s up to the legal partner in the ring to reach out and make the dramatic tag. Following the slap of hands, they can storm into the ring, unleashing a flurry of attacks on both opponents before setting up the legal opponent for the pin.
Your Tag Team partner will also be able to move around the ring when they’re tagged out. From here they can strike out at opponents, grapple, distract the referee, pull the opponent out of the ring and force a tag.
