STUNTMAN IGNITION OUT NOW ON XBOX 360 AND PS2!

"One of the most original driving games around" (TVG)

Stuntman Ignition for Xbox 360 and PS2 will be smashing onto shop shelves today, with the PS3 version following in the wake of destruction shortly.

We've had loads of ace Stuntman Ignition videos showing on the site recently (which you can check out here), so you may already be acquainted with the death-defying stunts you'll soon be perfecting.

Reviews have begun trickling in, presumably slowed only by the fact most of the reviewers are either on fire, trapped in a helicopter wreckage, or in hospital with their limbs in plaster. But for those that have managed to issues scores thus far, things are looking good for what Xbox 360 Gamer called "a spectacular roller-coaster ride". In the US, Game Informer offered a 8.5/10; and in the UK, Official Xbox Magazine, commenting that it's : "a lot more fun than the formulaic races of some other online driving games" awarded an 8/10. TVG also gave it an 8/10, although its readers' vote upped that to a 9/10; and there were some pleasingly succinct quotes in the review, "Super, big and awesome (to quote one of the film directors), Stuntman Ignition is one of the most original driving games around, packed full of explosive fun and action."

"The satisfaction and enjoyment gained from a perfect run is immense." And there'd be plenty of THQ employees, smugly sat on a full achievements list, who'd be inclined to agree...

So, jump out of the window, roll across the street and launch yourself off a bridge in a ridiculous vehicle*, in the vague direction of your local Stuntman Ignition stockist. 3, 2, 1... and action!
