THQ ANNOUNCES DISNEY/PIXAR’S RATATOUILLE FOR RELEASE IN SUMMER 2007

Rats, Parisians and culinary-based mini-games on the way

THQ is pleased to announce that a new Disney/Pixar title is planned for release for summer 2007. And it is… Disney/Pixar's Ratatouille!

Following the tail (ahem) of a young rat, Remy, whose love for great food puts him at odds with the needs of his family; the film and game take place between the sewers of Paris and the restaurant of Remy’s culinary idol – Auguste Gusteau. Players will instantly recognise the storyline, characters and locations from the film, as they engage in a series of unique mini-games, cooking challenges and head-to-head multiplayer.

Kelly Flock (Executive Vice-President of Worldwide Publishing, THQ) stated: “Disney/Pixar films have consistently captivated audiences of all ages with their imaginative and memorable characters, visually stunning imagination, and unparalleled story-telling.”

The launch of Disney/Pixar’s Ratatouille, developed by internal THQ studio – Heavy Iron, will also mark the most comprehensive simultaneous cross-platform release in THQ’s history. Hitting 11 platforms including: X360, PS3, PS2, PSP, DS, Gamecube, GBA, PC, Mac and wireless, it’s all set to coincide with the worldwide release of the highly anticipated film.
