THQ forms hot new internal studio
Incinerator Games already hard at work on next-gen titles
THQ today announced the formation of a new internal studio – Incinerator Games. Based in Carlsbad, California, the studio is primarily geared up to focus on next gen titles. Jack Sorensen, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Studios declared that :
"The addition of Incinerator Games is another example of our dedication to enhance and expand our internal development capabilities. We’re really excited to see the Incinerator team begin to bring its own ideas for next generation development to THQ."
Indeed, the new studio is already hard at work on a version of the warmly-received multi-platform title Cars for the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, due for release towards the end of the year. Expect to hear much more about Incinerator’s other exciting next-gen projects in the not too distant future.
