WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2008'S 24/7 MODE EXPLAINED

Enriching the single player experience

This year, get ready for an all-new single player experience.  We've blown the roof off of the traditional WWE SmackDown vs. Raw Season Mode to make way for the WWE 24/7 Mode. Season Mode and General Manager Mode have been merged into one inclusive single player gaming experience. The goal is no longer relegated to simply winning a World Championship Title but to become a true Legend of sports entertainment by being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, be forewarned, as the road to wrestling immortality will not be an easy one. Players will now actually live the lives of their favorite WWE Superstars, as they are thrust into the backstage drama of WWE programming. As a general manager, players are given ultimate control, as it's up to them to book the matches, create storylines and manage the day to day activities of the Superstars on their roster in an attempt to attract more fans away from the competition.

Become A Legend

Whether it's in front of a packed house of screaming WWE fans or behind closed doors in the general manager's office, the goal this year is the same: become a WWE Legend. In WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008, players will need to utilize physical strength as well as their cunningness, completing career milestones along the way toward induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. In WWE 24/7 Mode, players must now prove they have what it takes as both a Superstar and General Manager if they want to be considered among one of the all-time greats. Listed below are just a few of the career milestones you'll need to reach on the road to wrestling immortality:

Superstar Goals:
    Number of Championship defenses
    Longevity atop the Power 25
    Number of PPV victories
    WrestleMania Appearances/Wins

General Manager Goals:
    Number of Survivor Series wins
    Maintain a 13-week rivalry
Maintain a healthy roster for one month without any injuries
Achieve a 5-Star Match rating at WrestleMania

And many, many more!

Live The Life Of A Superstar

In WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008, it's not only important what players achieve inside the ring but what they accomplish outside of it as well. For the first time ever, players will now have control over their Superstars during every single day of the week. In between scheduled show dates, players have the option of boosting a Superstar's popularity by scheduling events like autograph signings, charity events and movie appearances. On top of that, players will now be able to build up their Superstar's attributes through a series of eight interactive training mini-games.

Storylines

In WWE 24/7 Mode, players will still experience the visually groundbreaking cut scenes featuring actual WWE Superstar voices that they've come to expect from the series. This year features new storylines, and players can take their favorite Superstar or Create-A-Superstar through an illustrious career spanning multiple years.
