Dawn of War doit son succès au suivi inconditionnel des fans et Relic a toujours su apporter à ses joueurs de quoi les nourrir. Cette fois, dans Dawn of War Soulstorm, la nouvelle extension autonome, Relic propose aux joueurs de prendre le commandement des Soeurs de Batailles, sorte d’inquisitrices ultraviolentes, ou des Eldars Noirs, la race la plus dépravée de l’univers, et de prendre part à la bataille finale. Mais Relic ne s’arrête pas ici, puisqu’en plus de proposer des nouvelles unités pour toutes les autres races, ils ajoutent pour la première fois les unités aériennes dans l’univers de DOW.
