FRONTLINES: FUEL OF WAR – FREE GAME MODE!

Introducing the new Conquer mode for the Xbox 360 version...

The Xbox 360 version of Frontlines: Fuel Of War has been updated! The next time you pop the disc in your machine you’ll get prompted to install the update. Which includes tweaks to the EMP Tech, updates to the leaderboards and – most important of all – a brand new game mode!

The aptly named Conquer allows teams to capture objectives in any order… turning the entire battleground into one big Frontline. Naturally there have been some changes to the vehicles for this game mode, but apart from that the maps remain untouched and uncut. Yes, Conquer works with all of the existing maps.

The update also paves the way for the next piece of downloadable content coming to the Xbox 360. This pack features four additional maps; Hindsight, Sunder, Wide-Awake and Infiltration. That brings the total up to 13! There’s also going to be a selection of new air vehicles and an anti-air rocket launcher included to spice up your arsenal.

What about the PC version you ask?

Well, the next patch (1.2.0) is on the way. This includes some important updates, as well as the Conquer mode and all of the content already released on the Xbox 360 version. So, that’s the Boneyard map, Automatic Shotgun, transport helicopter and rocket-mounted vehicles. And you’ll be pleased to hear that the next map pack will also be coming to the PC version of Frontlines.

You can find out more about the Conquer mode and the new maps over at Kaos Studios.
